SVG Graphic Not Working in BIRT

Question

Hi Admin,

For the past couple of days, my BIRT report that comprises of several charts (meter and bar) were working fine.
Today, when I start the same report, all the charts are not displaying.

Problem
- After breaking down into many checks, I have managed to find out that the SVG layout has stopped working in Knowage Portal over Google Chrome browser.

Verify and Is Working
- Knowage Portal via IE Browser: BMP, JPG, PNG and SVG all working okay.
- Knowage Portal via Goggle Chrome Browser: BMP, JPG and PNG all working okay.

Would you be able to advice on the above issue?

Hi Admin,

I have confirmed that the SVG graphics does not display over Chrome is due to Chrome recent upgrade to v59.x
I have downloaded a standalone Chrome v55 and the graphic is back to normal, looking great once again!

Not sure the Knowage SVG Viewer Engine could help in the latest Chrome version. Looking forward to hear an upgrade on this!

Btw, to be more specific, the SVG graphic error also applies to SpagoBI v5.x. if Chrome has been updated to v59.x
